Following my Easter From Bettys I was lucky enough to be asked by Bettys to style and photograph their infamous ‘Fondant Fancies‘ in my own insta style.
Their scrumptious fondant fancies are perfect for any occasion as they offer an option to have your fancies personalised, making them a perfect birthday option! Because we all know that someone always ends up with a bigger piece with a normal cake. The Bettys bakery have also developed a WEDDING CAKE out of fondant fancies. The wedding cake has two tiers of fondant fancies and a tier of Genoese sponge with a fondant icing and hand piped ‘swag’ – I just need the ring now!!! ha ha.
Each of Bettys legendary Fondant Fancies are made from a light Genoese sponge cake, sandwiched with perfect buttercream and raspberry preserve. They are then covered with a generous layer of marzipan before being coated in a shiny coat of fondant icing in a classic pink or ivory shade. Lastly every fondant fancie is individually hand decorated with delicate flowers – is your mouth watering yet?
You don’t even have to live in Yorkshire (I mean I know you would probably like to – joking) to get your hand on them either as Bettys will post them straight to your door!
I hope you have enjoyed my little styling and photography for Bettys, understandable I realise eating them would me more enjoyable. But don’t worry I can assure you I didn’t eat all nine myself.
